WAIATA EPSOM TENNIS CLUB
Waiata Epsom Tennis Club is located in Epsom, Auckland and welcomes players of any age and ability wishing to play tennis either socially or competitively. Our club has 4 floodlit artificial grass tennis courts, volley wall, and modern club house. We are a friendly community oriented tennis club with social tennis during the week and Junior and Intermediate coaching Friday afternoons in terms 1 and 4. Come join in the fun!
Club Tennis - Tuesday Night & Wednesday Morning
Come play social tennis Tuesday 6pm and Wednesday 9am. Everyone is welcome to join in for a bit of recreation tennis, and meet other members.
Nomad (Veterans) Tennis - Friday Morning
From 9am to 11am. Veterans are welcome to socialise, and play social doubles.
Junior Coaching - Friday Afternoon
FACILITIES
Waiata – Epsom Tennis Club is 10 minutes drive from central Auckland, and close to public transport bus routes.
HOURS OF PLAY
All days from 7:00 am until 10:00 pm.
No play on Good Friday or Christmas Day.
RULES
- All players must wear approved tennis shoes with non-marking soles, and appropriate clothing when playing on the courts.
- Please, on the courts: No smoking, no chewing gum, no food, no skateboards, no bicycles.
- Please respect our neighbours :
No tennis balls to be retrieved from their properties.
Try to keep noise to a minimum, especially at night.
Courts
Four "Tiger Turf" artificial grass tennis courts. Floodlights for night tennis may be used by Club Members with lights endorsement on their access tags. A versatile ball machine is available for use by club members. Key may be obtained from committee members - charge $5 per use.
Pavilion
Our pavilion has a sunny viewing deck overlooking the courts for the perfect viewing spot. A well equipped kitchen is available with fridge, microwave, oven and provision for hot drinks. There are separate men's and women's changing rooms, toilets and shower facilities. A table tennis table is available for members' use.
Grounds
Our club has a "target" volley wall perfect for practising your tennis strokes and a basketball hoop for shooting hoops. The outside grass seating area is fully fenced, with a sun-shaded playing area for children. A bbq for members use and picnic tables makes it a perfect place for families to enjoy.

Our membership year runs from 1 September to 31 August (aligned with the tennis season).
